The Illogical, Vacuous, Leftist Gesture of the Day

For those who still think that Bill Gates is an intelligent man, I offer this story.

Bill Gates playfully frees swarm of mosquitoes by Glenn Chapman

Microsoft founder turned disease-battling philanthropist Bill Gates loosed mosquitoes at an elite Technology, Entertainment, Design (TED) Conference to make a point about the deadly sting of malaria.

“Malaria is spread by mosquitoes,” Gates said while opening a jar onstage at a gathering known to attract technology kings, politicians, and Hollywood stars.

“I brought some. Here I’ll let them roam around. There is no reason only poor people should be infected.”

Gates waited a minute or so before assuring the audience the liberated insects were malaria-free.

This asshole should be sued for intentional infliction of emotional distress. He subjected people to the suspicion that malaria infected mosquitoes were about and waited an entire minute before telling them the truth?

TED curator Chris Anderson fired back at the legendary computer software maker, joking that the headline for the video of his talk to be posted online at Ted.com would be “Gates releases more bugs into the world.”

As he has in travels on behalf of his eponymous charitable foundation, Gates detailed the strides made in dealing with malaria in affluent countries and the need to fight the disease in impoverished nations.

“There is more money put into baldness drugs than into malaria,” Gates quipped, triggering laughter. “Now, baldness is a terrible thing and rich men are afflicted. That is why that priority has been set.”

It’s also called supply and demand, you dork. When people are standing in line for a certain treatment, more of it will be made. ANd many middleclass men are getting the treatment, not just the rich.

Gates called for aggressive distribution of insect netting and other gear proven to protect people from disease-transmitting stings.

He also shared that a malaria vaccine backed by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation should start Phase Three testing in a few months.

“I am an optimist; I think any tough problem can be solved,” Gates said.

“The market does not drive scientists, thinkers, or governments to do the right things. Only by paying attention and making people care can we make as much progress as we need to.”

The Bono of the computer world, ladies and gentlemen!

“The market does not drive scientists or thinkers”? Really? What exactly motivated you, Mr. Gates, when you helped start Microsoft? Mosquitoes?

This gesture was beyond stupid. If Gates was even mildly informed about malaria, he’d have some concern about the ban on DDT.
Moreover, note the ridiculous obsession with equality: some people are suffering, therefore all must be subjected to the same suffering.

Nancy Pelosi Unfamiliar with Population of United States

I don’t post on this story so much to make fun of Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), although that is part of my aim, but to demonstrate the double standard that exists in this media between gaffes uttered by Republicans and those uttered by Democrats.

If this sort of thing happens once, it’s understandable. It’s hard work undermining capitalism, and the perhaps the Speaker was tired.

But this was not the first time Pelosi thought America had a population of 500 million working adults.According to Nice Deb:

Speaker Pelosi made this same goof on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace on January 18:

From the transcript:

PELOSI: Well, I believe that — I know that President-elect Obama is a strong supporter of America’s workers. I myself am a strong supporter of that legislation. We passed it with a strong vote in the House in the last Congress, and I continue to be supportive of it.

But in terms of what we have to do in the first 100 days, we must address the needs of this country. Five hundred million people will lose their jobs each month until we have an economic package.

WALLACE: No, 500,000.

PELOSI: What did I say, million?

WALLACE: Yes, 500 million. That would really be a recession.

Thanks to Geoff.

Can you imagine a Republican getting away with this bone headed mistake? No, neither can I.

Although Pelosi’s “500,000″ comment was unintentional, it is a fact that Pelosi and her liberal comrades do wish to make the current economic situation much worse than it is so as to justify all sorts of government intervention into the free market.Like all good liberals, Pelosi’s concern is not accuracy but accumulation of power.

The Ignorance of Liberal Artists

In the art world, one will rarely (if ever) find any class, taste, standards, or decency, but pure ignorance comes in droves.

...

So this semi-functional puddle of piss work of art ought not surprise anyone.

You have to admire the gratitude of liberals. Abuse and ignorance is what W. gets for defending Muslims from tyranny, for fighting a global network of terrorists, for removing a ruthless dictator, for keeping us safe for 8 years under highly  straining circumstances. Be sure about one thing: If W. had a “D” after his name, he’d have bronze statues erected in his honor in Times Square, not urinals made in his image courtesy of a sculptor/jerk.

Democrats Behaving Badly: Illinois Governor Impeached by State Senate 59-0

Washington Post: Gov. Rod Blagojevich Delivers Remarks at Impeachment Trial

Illinois senate votes to oust Governor Blagojevich

The Illinois state senate on Thursday convicted Governor Rod Blagojevich of abuse of power, removing him from office amid charges that he tried to sell the U.S. Senate seat once held by President Barack Obama.

More than two-thirds of the 59 senators, acting as a jury following the two-term Democrat’s impeachment on January 9, voted to find him guilty, effectively ousting him from office.

The vote was televised live from the state capitol building in Springfield, Illinois. Blagojevich is the first governor in Illinois history to be impeached and removed from office.

The Robber Government: Where is All That Money Going?

Everyone is talking about how much money the government is spending, but very little attention is being paid to where they are spending it or what they are buying with it.

The government is putting money into banks, even when the banks don’t want it, in hopes that the banks will put it into circulation. But the latest statistics shows that banks are lending even less money now than they were before the government dumped all that cash on them.

Obama Burdens the Economy, Auto Industry Further

Welcome to “Change” but don’t expect any “Hope.”

So far, in one week of work, Obama has already

1. Reinstituted the abomination of the Mexico City Policy which will expand abortion around the globe.

2. Seek to shut down Guantanamo Bay and aggressive interrogation.

3. Suggested that people not listen to certain radio hosts.

And the spending, spending, spending continues.

Illinois + Democrat = Narcissism

Is it something in the air in Cook County that turns politicians into shady, law breaking goons with endless arrogance?

While Barack Obama’s egomania is thick and undeniable, he’s not nearly as bad as another Illinois politico, the Governor Rod Blagojevich. Blago was caught on tape allegedly seeking to sell Barack Obama’s Senate seat for lots of ca$h, which I guess is standard m.o. in his neck of the woods. Ever since he was arrested, Blago has put on a thick woe-is-me Joan of Arc act. (Except that Joan of Arc was actually innocent.)

Upon getting a phone call from federal agents, the Democrat Governor recently said “I thought about Mandela, Dr. King and Gandhi and tried to put some perspective to all this and that is what I am doing now.”

I don’t know about you, but the last people I’d be thinking about when facing incarceration is Mandela, Dr. King, and Gandhi unless I was an egomaniac like Blagojevich with a martyr complex. Why stop there, Rod? Why not insert Jesus, Buddha, Pope Benedict and the Dalai Lama into the conversation also?

Two-Faced Obama Preaches Unity While Ripping Rush Limbaugh

Obama has been disseminating the bullshit for so long, he now appears to believe it.

How else to explain the following comments:

President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,” he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.

One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.

“There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats,” the official said. “We shouldn’t let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done.”

So much for “hope” and “change.”

Here is the irony: Republicans have NOT been listening to a damn thing Rush has been saying for YEARS.

If they HAD listened to Rush, we’d probably would not have had a limp Senator McCain as the Republican nominee.

“Change” But No “Hope”: Obama Nominees Far-Left

The Heritage Foundation: Do Obama’s Nominees Offer the “Change We Need”?

[S]everal key appointees to President-elect Barack Obama’s cabinet will come before the Senate for their confirmation hearings. Obama’s nominees represent his vision of the “change we need.” Judging by the policies these nominees have supported in the past, it seems that the change our country will get is big-government policies that limit Americans’ freedom and stunt economic growth. The Heritage Foundation has outlined important questions and topics that Senators should address during these hearings.

Eric Holder, Nominee for Attorney General. As head of the Department of Justice, the Attorney General is the head interpreter and enforcer of laws. It is critical that he treat the law as written, and not apply his own political views. Accordingly, Senators should ask why he signed a brief denying that individuals have the right to own guns, why he recommended that fugitive financier Mark Rich be pardoned, and why he didn’t think that the Justice Department needed a court order before storming the home of Elian Gonzalez.

A Response to the Latest Embarassment of a “Reverend”

“We ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to give back, when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man, and when white will embrace what is right,”

Rev. Lowery speaking at Inauguration Day.

The Reverend Dr. Seuss, ladies and gentlemen. Why do those who claim to want a color blind society do nothing but obsess over color?

This latest embarrassment of a preacher was too busy writing childish rhymes and not enough time studying American history.

White already embraced what was right, Reverend Lowery. He began a century and a half ago in Michigan with the beginnings of the Republican Party. He did so on the battlefields of the Civil War where brother fought brother and 600,000 men were slaughtered partly over the issue of slavery. He did so when he fought to keep the union together partly in hopes that slavery would die.

White Republicans embraced what is right via the passage of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments and when they fought segregation; they embraced right when they worked toward integration of schools; they embraced right when they nominated not one but two black Secretaries of State; they embraced right when they nominated one black man as Supreme Court Justice and nearly a second (Janice Rogers Brown); they embraced right when they signed into law a holiday honoring an assassinated civil rights leader.

But because these achievements came from Republican white males, they are given no weight to Reverend Dr. Seuss, who is too busy writing rhymes worthy of toddler’s books rather than reading the history that might delude him of his foolish prejudices. Shame on him and whoever invited him to appear at the inauguration.

As for Barack Obama, I wish him and his family happiness and health.

I do, however, wish upon his socialist agenda nothing but failure. The moment Barack Obama’s political aspirations succeed, America becomes something it was never intended to be.

Horrors! Annoying Folk Singer Sells CD to WalMart. Anti-Corporate Left Howls

NRO: Tenth Avenue Sell-Out? — A Wal-Mart CD angers the far Left by Doug Heye

As Springsteen became more outspoken, his fans on the left became ecstatic. Bruce, they thought, was one of them. But discontent began brewing around the final concert of his previous tour, held at a Harley-Davidson weekend in Milwaukee. After years of famously refusing anything suggesting a commercial endorsement—an admirable choice that earned him a great deal of credibility—a number of fans worried that the Boss was going corporate. It was just a single event, though, and many Springsteen classics use the open road as a metaphor; so the venue and its commercial aspects were largely ignored.

The worried fans had their fears confirmed, however, when it was announced late last year that Springsteen would perform at the Super Bowl. For most, it’s an opportunity to see another intense, if abbreviated, Springsteen performance. But to his fans on the far left, it looks as though Springsteen is endorsing the largest corporate event in the world.

And what could possibly be worse than that ?

Obama Pretends That He Ran for Presidency for His Daughters, Fails to Mention Malignant Narcissism

AFP: Obama tells daughters he ran for president for them, all children

“In an open letter to his young daughters, US president-elect Barack Obama said Thursday that he entered the race for the White House ‘because of what I want for you and for every child in this nation.’ ”

Which is also known as socializing every inch of America.

But that was not what Obama was saying when he was asked by a 7 year old Indiana girl in early August 2008 why he was running for President.

After stalling for one full minute and cracking two jokes, he finally spits out this gem of ignorance:

“America is no longer what it could be, what it once was. And I say to myself, I don’t want that future for my children.”

Try to imagine how that 7 year old girl felt having to listen to this pompous ass.

Surprise, Suprise: Obama’s Energy and Climate Policy Pick Has Socialist Ties

We were told that Obama is not a “socialist.” (He’s just attracted to them; he merely associates with them; he agrees with their uneducated, obsessive, anti-American beliefs; he’s utterly ignorant of basic economics much like all socialists. But noooo , Obama’s not a socialist. Of course not.)

Washington Times: Obama climate czar has socialist ties by Stephen Dinan

Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama’s pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for “global governance” and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

By Thursday, Mrs. Browner’s name and biography had been removed from Socialist International’s Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group’s congress in Greece was still available.

Socialist International, an umbrella group for many of the world’s social democratic political parties such as Britain’s Labor Party, says it supports socialism and is harshly critical of U.S. policies.

The group’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society, the organization’s action arm on climate change, says the developed world must reduce consumption and commit to binding and punitive limits on greenhouse gas emissions.

Mr. Obama, who has said action on climate change would be a priority in his administration, tapped Mrs. Browner last month to fill a new position as White House coordinator of climate and energy policies. The appointment does not need Senate confirmation.

“Czar” indeed.

Fortunately, an enterprising commenter at the Washington Times story captured this image at SocialistInternational.org. Note Browner’s name mid-way the page.

And note environmentalism’s hand-in-hand connection to socialism.

We. Told. You. So.

Safely Elected, Obama Suddenly Admits Guantanamo Isn’t Closing So Soon

Even as he admits that G-Bay is more complicated than he cares to admit (or understands), Obama still insists that G-Bay will eventually close. Jihadists rejoice!

ABC: Obama: Gitmo Likely Won’t Close in First 100 Days — Closing Guantanamo Bay More Difficult Than People Realize, President-Elect Tells George Stephanopoulos in Exclusive Interview on “This Week” By MARY BRUCE

“I think it’s going to take some time and our legal teams are working in consultation with our national security apparatus as we speak to help design exactly what we need to do,” Obama said in an exclusive “This Week” interview with George Stephanopoulos, his first since arriving in Washington.

“It is more difficult than I think a lot of people realize,” the president-elect explained. “Part of the challenge that you have is that you have a bunch of folks that have been detained, many of whom may be very dangerous who have not been put on trial or have not gone through some adjudication. And some of the evidence against them may be tainted even though it’s true. And so how to balance creating a process that adheres to rule of law, habeas corpus, basic principles of Anglo-American legal system, by doing it in a way that doesn’t result in releasing people who are intent on blowing us up.”

All this talk about the detainees actually being guilty while fretting about the lives of racist Amerikkkans must really irritate Obama’s supporters. So in order not to irk them further, we get this:

But Obama said unequivocally that it will close. “I don’t want to be ambiguous about this. We are going to close Guantanamo and we are going to make sure that the procedures we set up are ones that abide by our Constitution.

The Constitution, Obama? You mean that same document that says you’re ineligible for the Presidency?

“That is not only the right thing to do but it actually has to be part of our broader national security strategy because we will send a message to the world that we are serious about our values.”

And sending messages to the world is our first priority. Moreover, it’s actually part of our “broader national security strategy.”

Keeping our citizens safe from madmen Muslims? That’s less of a concern.

Oblivious Democrat Governor Impeached by Illinois House

The Narcissist-in-Denial Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich (D), was impeached by the Illinois House in a razor-thin margin of 114-1.

Fox: After Impeachment, Blagojevich’s Fate Lies with Illinois Senate — Rod Blagojevich faces a state Senate trial that could remove him from office

The Illinois House voted overwhelmingly Friday to impeach [Democrat] Gov. Rod Blagojevich, setting up an unprecedented trial in the state Senate on whether he should be thrown out for abuse of power, including allegations that he tried to sell President-elect Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat.

The governor responded with what has become trademark defiance since he arrested on federal charges a month ago. He accused the House of retaliating against him for trying to help the people of Illinois and said he’s confident he’ll be “properly exonerated” at a Senate trial.

Not surprising. Now we await on the Illinois Senate.

Ask yourself whether Blagojevich’s response to all this indicates that he is mentally stable or unstable:

“The causes of the impeachment are because I’ve done things to fight for families,” said Blagojevich, who was joined by some beneficiaries of his health programs during a news conference in Chicago.

And then there’s this:

Blagojevich dismissed the impeachment as inevitable from a House that has resisted his efforts to help real people instead of “special interests and lobbyists.”

“The House’s action today wasn’t a surprise,” said Blagojevich. “From the moment of my re-election, I’ve been engaged in a struggle with the House.”

He ended the news conference by quoting a poem from “Ulysses” by Lord Alfred Tennyson, ending with: “To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.”

Still think Blagojevich has all his senses intact?

Blagojevich had been out jogging in his Chicago neighborhood when the House vote came down. Impeachment required just 60 votes. The final tally was 114-1.

A crucial vote on his political career occurs and the man is JOGGING in his neighborhood. If I pretend that I have no problem, then all my problems will disappear! Yay! (Incidentally, Blago should be living in Springfield, the Illinois capital, not Chicago. Imagine the laughs and insults a Republican governor would get if he dared to live in Chicago and not Springfield.)

But Blagojevich is a Democrat, and they get a different, lower standard which can be met by virtually anyone.

States With Worst Jobless Rates Governed Predominantly by Democrats

Associated Press: States with worst jobless rates share root causes — Unemployment hot spots all over the map, but worst states share housing, manufacturing pain By Christopher S. Rugaber and Ray Henry

Unlike the last recession, today’s unemployment hot spots are all over the map.

The five states with the highest unemployment rates — Michigan, Rhode Island, South Carolina, California and Oregon — all have something in common, though: a heightened exposure to the root causes of this downward spiral.
[...]
A contiguous cluster of rural states — Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Utah — had the lowest unemployment rates in November, ranging from 3.2 percent to 3.7 percent. The Labor Department on Friday said the national jobless rate in December was 7.2 percent.

Historically high prices for energy and grains have been a boon to their economies, although recent declines in commodity prices are beginning to bite, economists said.

I know something else Michigan, Rhode Island, South Carolina, California and Oregon have in common:with exception of South Carolina, they’re dominated by the Democrat Party.

Michigan Governor = Democrat, incompetent as kcuf
Michigan Senate = 21 Republicans 17 Democrats
Michigan House of Representatives = 67 Democrats, 43 Republicans

Rhode Island Governor = Democrat
Rhode Island Senate (200 8 ) 33 Democrats, 5 Republicans
Rhode Island House = 60 Democrat, 13 Republican, 1 vacant

South Carolina Governor = Republican
South Carolina Senate 27 Republicans 19 Democrats
South Carolina House = 73 Republicans 51 Democrats

California Governor = Republican (in name only)
California Senate = 24 Democrats, 15 Republican
California House = 51 Democrats, 29 Republican

Oregon Governor = Democrat
Oregon Senate = 19 Democrat, 11 Republican
Oregon House of Representatives = 36 Democrat, 24 Republican

As for those states listed with the LOWEST unemployment rates, they’re dominated by Republicans. Coincidence?

Wyoming Governor = Democrat
Wyoming House of Representatives = 42 Republicans, 18 Democrats
Wyoming Senate 23 Republicans, 7 Democrats

North Dakota Governor = Republican
North Dakota Senate = 26 Republican, 21 Democrat (2007)
North Dakota House of Representatives = 61 Republicans, 33 Democrats

South Dakota Governor = Republican
Senate = 20 Republicans, 15 Democrats
House of Representatives = 50 Republicans, 20 Democrats

Nebraska Governor = Democrat
Unicameral Legislature= 32 Republicans, Democrats 17

Utah Governor = Republican
Utah Senate = 21 Republicans, 8 Democrats
Utah House of Representatives = 55 Republicans, 20 Democrats

Pig$ at the Trough: Porn Industry the Latest Beggar to Proposition Government

The ripple effect from the collapsed housing market continues. Great job, Democrats. It takes a ton of talent to kcuf things up THIS badly.

Did you think the prized diamond of the American economy, the pornography industry, was recession proof? Bah! When Congress is throwing money around like water at restaurant tables, anyone (except the average taxpayer) is fully eligible for “free” money.

Another major American industry is asking for assistance as the global financial crisis continues: Hustler publisher Larry Flynt and Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis said Wednesday they will request that Congress allocate $5 billion for a bailout of the adult entertainment industry.

“The take here [Great choice of words -- Ed.] is that everyone and their mother want to be bailed out from the banks to the big three,” said Owen Moogan, spokesman for Larry Flynt. “The porn industry has been hurt by the downturn like everyone else and they are going to ask for the $5 billion. Is it the most serious thing in the world? Is it going to make the lives of Americans better if it happens? It is not for them to determine.”

A message to Owen Moogan,

Your arrogance aside, yes, it is very much for us to determine. It is OUR money. It is the taxpayer’s money for which you beg like a horse sucking on oats. Yes, it is for us to determine whether you take OUR money for your parasitic industry or not.

Moreoever, if your request was not “the most serious thing in the world,” then why are you bothering to make the request? Do you normally beg for $5 billion of tax payer money under regular circumstances? Clearly, it may not be the most serious, but $5 billion is a hell of alot of money to simply give away for the purpose of paying for the drug and alcohol habits of men and women (mainly women aged 18-26) with no family, no love, no roots, no future.

Francis said in a statement that “the US government should actively support the adult industry’s survival and growth, just as it feels the need to support any other industry cherished by the American people.”

Yes, Mr. Francis. The “cherished” porn industry is the equivalent of General Motors and the myriad of banks bailed by the American taxpayer.

This coming from a man who has spent time in jail and who uses drunken women for his personal bank accounts.

“People are too depressed to be sexually active,” Flynt said in the statement. “This is very unhealthy as a nation. Americans can do without cars and such but they cannot do without sex.”

Priorities 101. Yes, Mr. Flynt. People always give up their cars in exchange for regular sex.

Americans are losing their homes, their jobs, and are economically insecure, but GOD FORBID we are “too depressed to be sexually active.” In that case, Mr. Flynt might not be able to purchase another gold wheelchair.

Yes, Mr. Francis, Mr. Flynt, Mr. Moogan: you three are EXACTLY the type of parasitic trolls to whom the American public should consider giving money.

Gosh Darnit, People Like Me: Al Franken Steals Senate Seat?

Al Franken saw a 700+ vote deficit and somehow magically transformed it into a victory.

Welcome to the shameless and dishonest Democrat Party.

(On the topic of Democrat corruption, Illinois Democrat Roland Burris pompously flies to D.C. to claim “his” Senate seat, which apparently had a “for black men only” sign taped to the back. The fact that his position was up for sale a few weeks ago doesn’t seem to matter much when it’s a Democrat usurping power.)

Unlike Illinois, specifically Democrat C(r)ook County, Minnesota isn’t normally a place associated with public, brazen corruption. Is it? Perhaps we weren’t introduced to the impotent Minn. Canvassing Board or Democratic Secretary of State Mark Ritchie.

Meanwhile, the Republican Party is doing exactly what?

Wall Street Journal: Funny Business in Minnesota — In which every dubious ruling seems to help Al Franken

Minnesotans like to think that their state isn’t like New Jersey or Louisiana, and typically it isn’t. But we can’t recall a similar recount involving optical scanning machines that has changed so many votes, and in which nearly every crucial decision worked to the advantage of the same candidate. The Coleman campaign clearly misjudged the politics here, and the apparent willingness of a partisan like Mr. Ritchie to help his preferred candidate, Mr. Franken. If the Canvassing Board certifies Mr. Franken as the winner based on the current count, it will be anointing a tainted and undeserving Senator.

Hillary Clinton Ineligible as Secretary of State?

In their annual “Washington’s Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians” Judicial Watch notes:

Hillary Clinton is constitutionally ineligible to serve as Secretary of State in the Obama administration. According to the Ineligibility Clause of the United States Constitution, no member of Congress can be appointed to an office that has benefited from a salary increase during the time that Senator or Representative served in Congress. A January 2008 Executive Order signed by President Bush during Hillary Clinton’s current Senate term increased the salary for Secretary of State, thereby rendering Senator Clinton ineligible for the position. (Congressional “fixes” do not address the constitutional issue. Her appointment would be in violation of the U.S. Constitution.)

But anyone familiar with the Hilldebeast knows that rules simply do not apply to her.

And then, of course, there is the long history of corrupt behavior that follows Hillary wherever she goes, including Chinagate, Filegate, pardons for terrorists, pardons for cash (for her brothers), White House fundraising coffees, Whitewater, Travelgate lies, doing business with the State of Arkansas while her husband was governor,Web Hubbell, smear campaigns, false financial disclosure forms, John Huang,Chinese generals, the Lippo Group, paid sleepovers in the Lincoln Bedroom, cattle futures fraud, and stealing White House furniture. (This corruption is still going strong. In 2008, Hillary also received an illegal foreigncampaign contribution in the form of a fundraising concert by music iconElton John.)

The Ineligibility Clause, sometimes also referred to as the Incompatibility Clause or the Sinecure Clause,, located at Article 1, Section 6, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution, places limitations upon the employment of members of Congress and prohibits employees of the Executive Branch from serving in Congress during their terms in office.

The clause states:

“No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.”

The man who appointed her was a professor of Constitutional law at University of Chicago. Ironic?

No Experience, No English, No Problem! Caroline Kennedy May Be Appointed After All

In this political climate, whether it comes from George W. Bush, The Big Three, Barack Obama, Rod Blagojevich, Eliot Spitzer, William “The Refrigerator” Jefferson, or Caroline Kennedy, the utter contempt displayed for decorum, for rules, for respect for the voter has been appalling.

Years ago, New Yorkers voted into the U.S. Senate, a former intern in the U.S. Communist Party. Atleast then, they got to vote. Now their next Senator, who may or may not be a Communist, is on her way to being GIVEN a Senate seat because she asked for it. (I’m more qualified than this pompous bitch.)

Let’s not forget Ted Kennedy’s drunken fingerprints all over this Caroline-coronation.

Should they not protest this decision vociferously, shame on the people of New York and their eroded lack of standards.

ABC: NY Governor May Be Leaning Toward Kennedy — Sources Close to Paterson Say Kennedy is the Governor’s Choice for Clinton’s Senate Seat

Officials say the daughter of the late President John F. Kennedy will be the governor’s choice to fill the New York Senate seat being vacated by Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Two people close to Gov. David Paterson tell The Associated Press they believe Caroline Kennedy will be his choice, but the governor cautions he’s still looking.

The New York Times reports that during a New Year’s Day open house at the executive mansion, Paterson said “It ain’t nothin’ till I calls it.” The quote recalls a statement once made by legendary baseball umpire Bill Klem.

It ain’t arrogance till it comes from a Democrat.

Imagine with a Republican governor getting away with appointing a woman with ZERO — NONE — political experience.

Remember Governor Palin, who just happened to be governor when she was selected as McLoser’s V.P.? Somehow Palin, who was also a Mayor, was soooooo oooooh underqualified.

Caroline Kennedy’s achievements worthy of a U.S. Senate seat have included — what exactly? Her mere request for a Senate seat shows the utter contempt this woman has for the American people, specifically the people of New York.

A Half Century of Castro’s Shadow on Cuba

Commemorating the continual erosion of a great nation thanks to the gross ignorance, the elitism, the ruthlessness of one Communist egomaniac and his henchmen.
