You Don’t Say! Obama Suddenly Realizes He Has Muslim Relatives

Now that he is safely elected, Barack Obama, who distanced himself from Islam like Rosie O’Donnell does to diets, suddenly admits that not only does he have “Muslim members” in his family, but he EVEN has “lived in Muslim countries.”

That’s interesting. Conservatives were excoriated for simply pointing out that Barack’s father is Muslim and that his middle name is Hussein. Oh heavens. We’re so mean.

But now that it comes out of his mouth, let me guess: Islam is an asset?

Quoth Muslim the Usurper-in-Chief:

“My job is to communicate the fact that the United States has a stake in the well-being of the Muslim world, that the language we use has to be a language of respect. I have Muslim members of my family. I have lived in Muslim countries,” the president told Al Arabiya. “My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy. We sometimes make mistakes. We have not been perfect.”

Whatever you do, Mr. President, when speaking about America, make sure it is stated in negative terms; say nothing positive about America. Don’t claim that we’re law abiding and peaceful people as you claim Muslims are. Oh no! Tell the Islamic world that we’re not as bad as they think.

Whatever you do, don’t demand an end to the active Muslim support of violent jihad against the West. And definitely don’t point out the fact that Muslims has been bullying its neighbors for the last 1400 years and continues to bully Jews and Christians and Catholics and Hindus to this very day.

When it comes to Islam, liberals have some serious Stockholm Syndrome. Or perhaps it’s battered wife syndrome.(2)

(1) The syndrome is named after the Norrmalmstorg robbery of Kreditbanken at Norrmalmstorg, Stockholm, Sweden, in which the bank robbers held bank employees hostage from August 23 to August 28 in 1973. In this case, the victims became emotionally attached to their victimizers, and even defended their captors after they were freed from their six-day ordeal.

(2) The condition explains why abused people often do not seek assistance from others, fight their abuser, or leave the abusive situation. Sufferers have low self-esteem, and often believe that the abuse is their fault. Such persons usually refuse to press criminal charges against their abuser, and refuse all offers of help, often becoming aggressive or abusive to others who attempt to offer assistance. Often sufferers will even seek out their very abuser for comfort shortly after an incident of abuse.
