Obama breaks from Bush, avoids divisive stands By LIZ SIDOTI
Barack Obama opened his presidency by breaking sharply from George W. Bush’s unpopular [Editorialize much, Ms. Sidoti? -- Ed.] administration, but he mostly avoided divisive partisan and ideological stands. [Because Obama is not ideological. Naw. Never. -- Ed.] He focused instead on fixing the economy [which was ruined with the Democrat interference with the housing market -- Ed.] , repairing a battered world image [Being popular is always more important than doing what is right. -- Ed.] and cleaning up government [How does he plan on doing that? -- Ed.].

The flurry of activity was intended ["Intended" is right. -- Ed.] to show that Obama was making good on his promise to bring change. Yet domestic and international challenges continue to pile up, and it’s doubtful that life will be dramatically different for much of the ailing country anytime soon. [Now that Obama is safely elected, we wouldn't want people to think Obama was SERIOUS about all that "hope" and "change" shit, would we? -- Ed.] Obama’s biggest agenda items — stabilizing the economy and ending the Iraq war — are complex tasks with results not expected soon. [Right. But if Bush was in charge, then results were expected pronto. In fact, we were told that we needed TRILLIONS (with a T) of dollars to spread around to banks, corporations, and other whores. If not, the global economy would collapse and we'd all DIE! WIth Obama in charge, however, we ought not expect, you know, any results! -- Ed.]
