brv345,

Surely you jest.

HALF of the cities you listed have had Democrat administrations for 6 years OR LESS. Another TWO cities are have had Dem administrations for 8 and 10 years.

The poor cities I listed have been run by Democrats for DECADES. Two of the top ten have been run by Dems for ONE CENTURY. EIGHT of the ten have had Democrat administrations for over FORTY FIVE YEARS.

And the United States is FAR from "collapse." If you seek someone to blame for the current mortgage crisis, blame the Democrats, specifically President Clinton and Attorney General Janet Reno for strong-arming banks into giving away its money to those not credit worthy.

10 Richest Cities in the US:

San Jose, CA - Democrat since 1998
Anchorage, AK - Democrat since 2003
San Francisco, CA Democrat since 2003
Virginia Beach, VA - Democrat since 1988
San Diego, CA - - Republican since 2005
Anaheim, CA - Republican since 2002
Raleigh, NC - Democrat since 2002
Seattle, WA - Democrat since 2001
Washington, DC - Democrat since 2000
Honolulu, HI - Democrat since 1994

Trying to correlate the fate of a city to the election of a party is kind of like blaming the collapse of the United States on George W. Bush and the republicans. Oh wait...maybe you're actually onto something!
