The cardinal sin offense for liberals is hypocrisy. That is, unless they are the ones being hypocrites, in which case it’s a-ok.
According to Matt Drudge, the NY Treason Times, publisher of national security secrets, featured

front page stories on Bristol Palin, daughter of vice-presidential nominee, Sarah Palin. Bristol is 17 years old, pregnant, and is keeping her baby.
Considering that liberals have openly promoted promiscuity and privacy for decades as their lone virtues, one would think these same libertines would not be so self-righteous and scandalized about a 17 year old getting pregnant.
Imagine if Chelsea Clinton had become pregnant. Don’t think the media would have dutifully respected the privacy of the Clintons? Chelsea didn’t get pregnant (not that we know of), but the Clintons ordered the media to stay away from their daughter; from 1992-2000, the media obeyed. What would the media do if, say, Al Gore’s son was caught driving drunk? (They would ignore the story for a week, that’s what.) Meanwhile, they made sure to cover each and every encounter with the law the Bush twins had.
Media bias and liberal hypocrisy are on full display now because Bristol Palin’s mother is a pro-life conservative. It doesn’t occur to the vultures in the liberal media that these slimy tactics may generate more support for Palin, or that a pregnant teenager should not be dealing with the kind of stress being imposed on her. When power is at stake, journalistic integrity, basic decency, and the ideals of privacy are easily cast off like an old shirt.
