Obama Marched with Farrakhan

March 31, 2008

Senator Obama has long been obsessed with race.

Chicago Reader: What Makes Obama Run? — Lawyer, teacher, philanthropist, and author Barack Obama doesn’t need another career. But he’s entering politics to get back to his true passion–community organization. By Hank De Zutter, December 8, 1995

Obama took time off from attending campaign coffees to attend October’s Million Man March in Washington, D.C. His experiences there only reinforced his reasons for jumping into politics.

“What I saw was a powerful demonstration of an impulse and need for African-American men to come together to recognize each other and affirm our rightful place in the society,” he said. “There was a profound sense that African-American men were ready to make a commitment to bring about change in our communities and lives.”

“But what was lacking among march organizers was a positive agenda, a coherent agenda for change. Without this agenda a lot of this energy is going to dissipate. Just as holding hands and singing ‘We shall overcome’ is not going to do it, exhorting youth to have pride in their race, give up drugs and crime, is not going to do it if we can’t find jobs and futures for the 50 percent of black youth who are unemployed, underemployed, and full of bitterness and rage.” …

“This doesn’t suggest that the need to look inward emphasized by the march isn’t important, and that these African-American tribal affinities aren’t legitimate. These are mean, cruel times, exemplified by a ‘lock ‘em up, take no prisoners’ mentality that dominates the Republican-led Congress. Historically, African-Americans have turned inward and towards black nationalism whenever they have a sense, as we do now, that the mainstream has rebuffed us, and that white Americans couldn’t care less about the profound problems African-Americans are facing.”

“But cursing out white folks is not going to get the job done. Anti-Semitic and anti-Asian statements are not going to lift us up. We’ve got some hard nuts-and-bolts organizing and planning to do. We’ve got communities to build.”

So IF cursing out white folks DID get the job done, then it would be alright?

For the record, a publicity driven March, million-man or otherwise, is not needed to improve communities. A desire for self-improvement, motivation, and pride in oneself and one’s community are what is truly needed.

Michelle Malkin Gets Hate Mail

March 31, 2008

If you happen to be a minority and you have conservative beliefs of any kind, the letter below sent to Michelle Malkin should make clear how such people are mistreated and abused — for thinking differently.

For those who still naively believe black Americans aren’t as racist as anyone on earth, here is more of that liberal tolerance in action.

Dear Ms. Malkin:

You are nothing but a white woman disquised [sic] as an Asian. There is nothing about Asian about you accept [sic] your complexion. Attorney Malik Zulu Shabazz was right when he said that you should be ashamed of yourself as a “Woman of color” for the positions that you take concerning race, immigration, and non-whites otherwise known as minorities. Listening to you just sickens me. If I were close my eyes I wouldn’t be able to tell that you were Asian. By the way are you at least married to another asian or a non-white man [sic]. It would really surprise me if you were. I say this because usually non-whites such as yourself who spend their entire lives aligning themselves with white people in power physically, politically, financially or mentally often try to make it final by marrying a white person. Hoping that this will officiate the notion that you are in the inside of the white establishing [sic]. I have more to more later on [sic]. Have a blessed day.

Mr. Doshon Farad
New Black Panther Party For Self Defense

Farad’s command of the English language is just stellar. Maybe it was just “disquised” as bad English?

“Hoping that this will officiate the notion that you are in the inside of the white establishing.” Huh?

“I have more to more later on” Huh?

Farad is far too bizzee sending ignant hate mail to an eksellent jurnalist. He should be much more concerned with the list of problems plagueing the black community and racism isn’t one of them. We could start with some facts: a 70% out-of-wedlock birthrate, or poverty, or dependence of government, or the many black students stuck in lousy public schools, or the high drop out rate among blacks, or the percentage of blacks who commit murders, or the percentage of the prison population composed of blacks.

But no, all those very serious problems require very serious solutions and difficult work, and, well, Farad doesn’t have the solutions and does not appear interested doing real work to help his people. Much easier to write ignorant letters. Plus solving the problems of black Americans might hurt the Panther$ in their bank accounts.

It was almost amusing that Farad, after insulting Malkin and parroting Marxist notions that a person’s ethnicity dictates his or her beliefs, Farad wishes that Malkin “have a blessed day.”

What a kind gentleman.

Fuck yourself, Farad, and your racist rhetoric. Have a blessed day!

The Priorities of the Dutch

March 30, 2008

The priorities of the Dutch:

Dutch businesses warned on Saturday that they would consider suing far-right lawmaker Geert Wilders if his anti-Islam film led to a commercial boycott of Dutch goods, while police said cars were set ablaze and graffiti called for Wilders to be killed.

“A boycott would hurt Dutch exports. Businesses such as Shell, Philips, and Unilever are easily identifiable as Dutch companies. I don’t know if Wilders is rich, or well-insured, but in case of a boycott, we would look to see if we could make him bear responsibility,” Bernard Wientjes, the chairman of the Dutch employers’ organisation VNO-NCW, told the Het Financieel Dagblad newspaper.

[...]

Two days after the Internet release of the long-awaited 17-minute documentary “Fitna”, Muslim nations, including Malaysia and Singapore, and the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned it. Although there were no mass disturbances in the Netherlands, two cars were set ablaze in Utrecht overnight, with a slogan calling for the death of Wilders. Police said they could not say with certainty that it was connected to the release of “Fitna.”

geert-wilders.jpg

Geert Wilders

Wilders is risking his life in standing behind this film, and he should be enjoying the support of his countrymen. Apparently they’re only able to pay lip service to free speech.

Speaking of Muslim-related issues, Dr. Abd Al-Hamid Al-’Ubeidi, expert on Islamic Law, doesn’t think there was much wrong with Muhammed banging the 9 year old girl whom he married, and even if there was, well, you Western heathen sluts have no right to talk anyway. (Nice way to dodge the issue. )

“Many criminals, the enemies of Islam, ask: ‘How could the Prophet Muhammad, at 52 years of age, marry ‘Aisha when she was only 8 years old, and consummate the marriage when she was 9 years old?’ I say to them: People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”

Boy, if that’s not logic at its purest, I don’t know what is.

So rape and pedophilia are legit under Islam as long as the child is married first?

More Hatred from Jeremiah Wright

March 30, 2008
On his radio show yesterday, Hugh Hewitt played excerpts of Barack Obama reading from his autobiography, Dreams of My Father. In one, Obama remembers a sermon by Rev. Jeremiah Wright:

[T]he pastor described going to a museum and being confronted by a painting title Hope.

“The painting depicts a harpist,” Revernd [sic] Wright explained, “a woman who at first glance appears to be sitting atop a great mountaintop. Untill you take a closer look and see that the woman is bruised and bloodied, dressed in tattered rags, the harp reduced to a single frayed string. Your eye is then drawn down to the scene below, down to the valley below, where everywhere are the ravages of famine, the drumbeat of war, a world groaning under strife and deprivation.

It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, aprtheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere … That’s the world! On which hope sits.”

Can you imagine a white pastor getting away with this shit? Me neither.

Obama’s explanation and reaction to this blatant racism can be found here.

Obama Makes Reporter’s Knees Go Weak

NBC’s Lee Cowan: Covering Barack Obama Makes My Knees Quake By Scott Whitlock

It seems as though NBC is now expanding its bias to include paid supplements. In a print promotional distributed by NBC News, reporter Lee Cowan enthused, “When NBC News first assigned me to the Barack Obama campaign, I must confess my knees quaked a bit.” This is the same journalist who in January famously confessed to “Nightly News” host Brian Williams that it’s “almost hard to remain objective” when covering the “infectious” energy surrounding the Illinois senator.

How’s that for responsible journalism?

It’s Only Fair When Democrats Do It? Rush Limbaugh Attacked for “Operation Chaos”

March 29, 2008

Columbus Dispatch: Limbaugh safe from voter-fraud charges — Radio host encouraged fans to vote Democrat By Mark Niquette

Radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh has been telling his audience for days now that he could be indicted for encouraging Ohio Republicans to take a Democratic ballot in the March 4 primary in what he calls “Operation Chaos.”

Could that actually happen?

Not likely, Ohio officials say.

“We have no intention of prosecuting Rush Limbaugh because lying through your teeth and being stupid isn’t a crime,” said Leo Jennings, a spokesman for Democratic Attorney General Marc Dann.

For someone who labels people “stupid,” Jennings doesn’t like to pluralize basic English verbs.

(It’s not “isn’t a crime.” Jennings means “aren’t crimes.”)

Mr. Jennings, you can disagree with Limbaugh all you want, but Limbaugh hasn’t lied and he isn’t stupid. As for your manners and decorum, on the other hand…

When asked whether she has concerns about what Limbaugh did, Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, a Democrat, replied, “I think it’s very bad form, but I think most voters are intelligent enough to make their own decisions.”

“Very bad form”? Democrats and the left-wing media, which focused primarily on John McCain, have selected the Republican nominee. A more conservative pick would have been any of the following:

  • Duncan Hunter
  • Tom Tancredo
  • Fred Thompson
  • Mitt Romney

They all dropped out of the Presidential race.

But when Limbaugh encourages his listeners to force the Democrat nominee, well, then it is “very bad form”!

Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos” in Ohio, Pennsylvania and other states holding presidential primaries is designed to help presumptive Republican nominee John McCain win the Nov. 4 election.

The idea is to encourage Republicans in those states to vote for Hillary Clinton as a way to prolong the Democratic fight for the nomination with Barack Obama, possibly making it more difficult for Democrats to unite in the fall.

Some critics have complained that Limbaugh is improperly encouraging voters to break the law.

In Ohio, party-switchers are supposed to sign a form attesting, under penalty of election falsification — a felony — that they support the principles of the party whose ballot they are obtaining.

“Support the principles of the party…” ?

I guess the Soviet Union isn’t dead after all.

But Jennings said it would be difficult to prosecute anyone because they also have constitutionally protected freedom of speech and it’s hard to prove voter intent.

“You can’t just make the assumption that someone is lying,” Jennings said.

Rendering the entire concept of “supporting party principles” to be not only Soviet but utterly useless.

Neither Limbaugh nor a spokesman could be reached, but Limbaugh has a transcript posted on his Web site addressing listeners concerned about being charged with voter fraud.

“I wouldn’t worry about it,”
Limbaugh said. “Look at this as a badge of honor, ladies and gentlemen. If anybody gets indicted, if anybody has to go jail, it will be me — and I’ll do my program from jail for the short amount of time I will be there before I am excused and the charges dismissed.

“I had the temerity, ladies and gentlemen, to tinker with a tradition, a liberal Democrat tradition: voter manipulation.”

It would be bad enough if that voter manipulation just involved the selection of Democrats and their nominees, but it has also been true in the case of John McCain.

If it’s too early for voter manipulation, the media dutifully plays its role to either force Republican candidates out of races or led them down the path of defeat. Virginia Senator and Republican, George Allen, lost the most recent election because of his use of a little-known slur. The media covered it for weeks. One would have thought Allen had committed adultery, tampered with witnesses and perjured himself. Meanwhile, the media didn’t give nearly the same coverage when it reported that his opponent, Jim Webb, had merely published pornographic novels including one depicting fellatio between a father and his young son.

The Times in England wrote:

In one excerpt, taken from one of six novels that Mr Webb wrote between 1978 and 2001, a naked stripper slices a banana with her genitalia. In another, Mr Webb says of a fictional nurse at Bethesda Naval Hospital that she would be less of a “damn witch” if she had sex.

Stupid use of a racial slur by Republican = very very bad!

Publication of porn novels (involving a boy, incest, and talented strippers) by Democrat = meh!

Part of the reason why Barack Obama won the election for his Illinois Senate seat is because the Illinois media’s hatchet job against his Republican opponent, Jack Ryan. The media cared nothing about privacy when they demanded the release of Ryan’s divorce records. Ryan understandably tried to obtain some media sympathy by explaining that release of those records would be harmful to his child. The media, however, much like sharks aware of blood, were hungry and demanded a Republican carcass. So why was the media so interested? It just happened that those divorce records revealed that Ryan took his wife to sex clubs. (Yes, this was certainly lousy, horn-ball behavior, but if Ryan was a Democrat, the story would have died before it was born.)

Republicans then recruited Alan Keyes, who lost by a fat margin to Obama.

Of course, when liberals and Democrats pull election stunts, it’s fine. When Rush does it, then it’s a problem?

The Audacity of Bullshit

March 28, 2008

Obama on “The View”:

“Had the reverend [Wright] not retired, and had he not acknowledged that what he had said had deeply offended people and were inappropriate and mischaracterized what I believe is the greatness of this country, for all its flaws, then I wouldn’t have felt comfortable staying at the church.”

Translation: If Wright hadn’t retired, then I might have left the Church at which I was a member for 20 years!

The man thinks we’re stupid.

bo.jpg

Thomas Sowell on Obama’s association with Wright:

Barack Obama’s own account of his life shows that he consciously sought out people on the far left fringe. In college, “I chose my friends carefully,” he said in his first book, “Dreams From My Father.”

These friends included “Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk rock performance poets” — in Obama’s own words — as well as the “more politically active black students.” He later visited a former member of the terrorist Weatherman underground, who endorsed him when he ran for state senator.

Obama didn’t just happen to encounter Jeremiah Wright, who just happened to say some way out things. Jeremiah Wright is in the same mold as the kinds of people Barack Obama began seeking out in college — members of the left, anti-American counter-culture.

In Shelby Steele’s brilliantly insightful book about Barack Obama — “A Bound Man” — it is painfully clear that Obama was one of those people seeking a racial identity that he had never really experienced in growing up in a white world. He was trying to become a convert to blackness, as it were — and, like many converts, he went overboard.

Nor has Obama changed in recent years. His voting record in the U.S. Senate is the furthest left of any Senator. There is a remarkable consistency in what Barack Obama has done over the years, despite inconsistencies in what he says.

Not Finding Enough Poverty, Media Invents Some

March 27, 2008

CNN: Extreme Recycling by Sarah Jio

“A lot of perfectly good food is thrown away,” says Nelson, a spokeswoman for Freegan.info, a New York City group that promotes “freeganism,” which eschews conventional commerce in favor of a lifestyle that uses minimal resources.

Freegans try not to buy things new — not even food.

Jumping into a garbage bin may sound scary, but Nelson, 52, who lives in Brooklyn, says it’s no big deal. Humans, she says, are “hardwired to be foragers.”

For the thousands who search online for free merchandise, pick up roadside castoffs and even dig through Dumpsters, paying for everything they need is yesterday’s news.

At a time when many Americans are on tighter budgets and worrying about environmental conservation, the practice may get more popular”

People around the world have to sift though garbage to survive, because they have no choice. I suspect they’d rather make a living in other ways.

But enviro-hippie-liberals in America, whose view of reality is based on lack and more lack, and who could avoid sifting though garbage, are now behaving in a way aligned with that belief.

Meanwhile, this biased media is so utterly desperate to make America look like a Third World country (it’s supposed to help Democrats when America’s economy is in the, ahem, dumpster) that it will publish wack job stories like these.

On a somewhat related note, the NAACP, which couldn’t “advance” a tricycle, is apparently unable to find any real racism to complain about, but no matter! When life gives you a molehill, make a mountain of it!.

Michelle Obama Opens Mouth Again, Head for Cover

March 27, 2008

Quoth that luminary Mrs. Obama:

We don’t like being pushed outside of our comfort zones. You know it right here on this campus. You know people sitting at different tables- you all living in different dorms. I was there. You’re not talking to each other, taking advantage that you’re in this diverse community. Because sometimes it’s easier to hold on to your own stereotypes and misconceptions. It makes you feel justified in your own ignorance. That’s America. So the challenge for us is are we ready for change?

mobama.jpg

I know better than you.

No, it is not America. America is not about being “justified in our own ignorance.” If anything, America seeks to correct its errors.

Self-proclaimed saviors, Mr. and Mrs. Obama, can’t even keep their own damn party in order, refuse to wear an American flag lapel pin (Barack), refuse to condemn an anti-American and bigoted pastor (Barack and Michelle), lecture Americans on what their ideals and priorities should be, and now associate America with ignorance.

This is “change we can believe in”? This is the “hope” that we hear endlessly about? If anything should change quickly, it should be the ignorant and condescending tone of Michelle Obama.

For all the talk about conservatives being “racist,” all of which is slanderous bullshit, it is liberals who are consistently obsessing about everyone’s skin color “diversity.” Meanwhile, “diversity,” which is nothing more than a slimy euphemism for the elevation of minorities into elite positions while discriminating against white males, doesn’t appear to include, say, the U.S. military, or the pro-life movement, or conservatives.

Query: who’s hurting Senator Obama more lately?

a. Jeremiah Wright

b. Michelle Obama

c. They both sucketh the asseth.

US court orders new hearing for death row campaigner by Fanny Carrier

A US federal appeals court on Thursday upheld the murder conviction against Mumia Abu-Jamal, but ruled the death-row campaigner cannot be executed without undergoing a new sentencing hearing.

The three-judge panel rejected Abu-Jamal’s request for a new trial but ruled the former radio journalist and Black Panther civil rights activist should either face a new hearing or have his sentence commuted to life in jail.

Reacting to the decision, the Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Coalition, who have campaigned for Abu-Jamal to be granted a fresh trial, described the ruling as a “devastating decision” and called for mass protests on Friday.

A judge known for creative sentencing has ordered three Spanish-speaking men to learn English or go to jail.

The men, Luis Reyes, Ricardo Dominguez and Rafael Guzman-Mateo, plus a fourth defendant, Kelvin Reyes-Rosario, all needed translators when they pleaded guilty Tuesday.

“Do you think we are going to supply you with a translator all of your life?” the judge asked them.

Zimbabwe’s Disaster of a President Buying Votes

March 27, 2008

American liberals take much joy in smearing President Bush as “the worst” President in U.S. history, which is a dubious label considering that most of Bush’s critics couldn’t tell you jack about any American president prior to Ronald Reagan.

If only they were familiar with Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, the economically blind man who singlehandedly turned the “breadbasket” of Africa into an economic basketcase with a worthless currency and nothing to buy.

Reuters: Zimbabwe’s Mugabe hands out cars By MacDonald Dzirutwe

Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe, facing the toughest election battle of his 28 years in power, handed out hundreds of cars to doctors on Thursday in what opponents say is a vote buying campaign.

Mugabe’s opponents said the veteran leader was plotting to rig Saturday’s presidential election, in which he faces old rival Morgan Tsvangirai and ruling party defector Simba Makoni.

Both accuse Mugabe, 84, of wrecking what was once one Africa’s strongest economies and pauperizing its people.

[...]

Mugabe has also handed out farm equipment and public buses in what critics say is an attempt to win political favor ahead of the vote in a country where many can no longer afford even basic needs and food and fuel are in short supply.

The health sector suffers a shortage of drugs and skilled workers because many have gone abroad in search of better pay.

Nurses and doctors have been on strike to demand more pay and all state workers were promised higher salaries by Mugabe during the campaign, but inflation of over 100,000 percent quickly makes pay rises meaningless.

Critics say Mugabe’s policies, particularly seizing white-owned farms to give to landless blacks, have led to ruin.

It sure as fawk is a revelation to me.

No surprise here: Hillary is lying. The question of whether you have come under sniper fire or not is hardly a subject upon which a person would err. There is no doubt when you’re being targeted with bullets; it’s not subject to interpretation.

“Hmm. I could have swore we just got shot at. Chelsea, did you feel any shift in the winds?”
